In response to my inquiry about the GF status of Hi-C Juice Boxes, one
person confirmed they are GF, and another said her celiac child drinks
them all the time with no problem. A number of folks suggested the
diarrhea might be caused by too much fruit juice. This seems logical,
although she is not drinking a lot of the stuff, and has never seemed to
have this kind of problem from apple juice. One person suggested that if
the drinks contain corn syrup, she may be reacting to the corn. (This is a
good tip, since corn chips also give her a rumbly tummy and loose stools.
I'll check on that.) Thanks to all -- it is at least comforting to know that
she is not likely having a celiac response from the juice boxes.
