>Please, what is the status of quinoa?

Despite its rejection by one large celiac support group, the majority of
celiac experts consider quinoa to be gluten free. A lengthy discussion by
Dr Don Kasarda of the USDA of quinoa, tef, amaranth and other exotic grains
is available by sending an email to [log in to unmask] with the
body GET CELIAC GRAINS.

As with any other non-gluten food, it is possible that some celiacs will
have a reaction to quinoa due to an independent allergy, or due to cross
contamination during food storage or preparation.
