Has anyone ever had a Sepsis infection response?

I spent 6 days in ICU and 4 more days in the hospital.

I thought I just had a virus that had been going around...but by the time I got to the emergency room, my blood pressure was 70/30 and I was dehydrated. I was given 7 liters of fluid - but because the infection had gone systemic, it caused my kidneys to shutdown.
I was given 2 treatments of dialysis. But, they are thinking that my kidneys have bounced back 100% since the creatinine number has gotten back to normal.

I am getting stronger day by day.
I am Thankful and Blessed to be alive.

I just wondered if any other celiacs have had this experience.

I want to follow-up to make sure that I am doing everything I can to make my immune system as strong as I can. Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks!--------------------------------------------------------
