Hello all,

In my ongoing search for a variety of foods I can eat and be healthy, I
found a 'Maple Buckwheat Flakes' cereal by Arrowhead Mills. The
ingredients are Buckwheat, Brown Rice Flour, Unbleached Cane Juice
Crystals, Buckwheat Flour, Maple Syrup, Sea Salt, Honey, Ascorbic Acid
and Natural Vitamin E. I found it in my local health food store and not
in the supermarket.

It has a full favor and is a heavier flake than corn or rice flakes.

IMPORTANT:
In talking to Arrowhead Mills (800 749-0730) on the GF status of the
Buckwheat cereal they informed me they used to use malt barley in the
ingredients so read the label and check that it is the new formula you
are getting. They listed Malt on the old boxes and not on the new.
Linda of Arrowhead Mills was very informed about Celiac Disease and was
most helpful about talking about their other GF products. She said they
believe there is a growing market for gluten free products and that
Celiac is being Dx more and more as information is becoming available.
Nice to see an' enlighten' food company.

I have no financial interest in this company.

Ruth,
Murphy, NC usa
