Does anyone know if it is possible to get gluten contamination from
cleaning supplies such as dish washing brushes and sponges?

I have Celiac Disease, but my partner does not, so our household is
not entirely gluten-free. I just realized that I use the same dish
sponge to clean all of my dishes regardless of whether the dish was
used for gluten-containing food. I now wonder whether bits of gluten
can get into the sponge and then later contaminate other dishes. I
assume rinsing dishes with hot water will get rid of any
contamination, but assumption has brought me trouble in the past.
Should I be worried about this?
