Hi,

Here is the summary of GF Italian Restaurants in Boston, Ma area. I didn't know that there were so many. So far I haven't tried any, but hope to soon. Thanks for your replies!

Nebo in the north end has a GF menu. Papa Razzi also has a gluten free menu.

I live outside Boston (Metrowest). Recently we've discovered a few places
that do gluten-free pasta very well:

Paparazzi's (They're a small group - we go to the one on Rt. 9 in
Framingham, but there are others)

Tavalino's (again - a small group, we've been to the ones at Patriot's Place
and in Westborough)

Burton's Grill (They have about 4 locations - I've been to downtown near
Fenway Park off Brookline Ave. They have some suburban locations also).

Nebo's (in the North End - N. Washington St. very close to North
Station/Garden area).

We love all of them and have found them all very flexible to prepare
whatever we want in a gluten-free preparation, since their food is cooked to
order.

my son and I were recently touring some colleges in and around Boston and found the restaurant, Nebo. It is downtown and a bit expensive, I'm afraid, but absolutely worth the inconvenience and every penny. we both ordered some treats that we, on a GF diet, rarely get -- fried calamari, pasta and chicken cutlet parmesan. all were really terrific!

I went to Maggiano's Little Italy at 4 Columbus Ave. in Boston across from the Park Hotel. It was truly a memorable dinner. I was taking my daughter to college (I'm the celiac) and we all just were in heaven after the dinner. They do have gluten-free menu items gf pasta as well. It's also close to Legal Seafood which I've been told has a gluten-free menu. Check out the web site www.maggianos.com

Apparently, Nebo's in the North End has a gluten free menu, including pasta. I've never been, but I've heard good things. See my blog, www.glutenfreediscoveries.blogspot.com for other Boston area suggestions. Also, the Health Villi website now has an expanded restauarant section.
