A concient way of reading the individual messages of the digest or
logfiles has been brought to the Listowners attention.
 
The digest exploder is a MS-Dos (Windows compatabile) program for indexing
the subject headings of a digest or logfile.  This avoids the current
situtation where you must scroll through individual messages.  Based upon
subject headings you can quickly read a desired message.  It also, has a
limited ability to write replies to individual messages.
 
The program is shareware and is available from: FTP.WINTERNET.COM
to those with access to a file tranfer program.  Some WWW readers will
allow FTP connection.

The program works by reading these ASCII files after they are saved to disk
from your mail program.
 
I do have knowledge of a MAC version.  Questions can be sent directly to my ID
as I have been using the program for several weeks.
