Interesting concept I read about this AM - I live in Canada so I do not know
this hospital, however it seems that that they are making changes to the
bland, mass produced hospital rotation diet to a cook by order that might
help Celiac's who need to stay there.

 

"Patients at Lodi Memorial Hospital in California can order restaurant-style
meals cooked from scratch in an updated kitchen where orders are taken by
phone and entered into a computer. The room-service style of food service
was created to improve patients' hospital experience, boost recovery times
and reduce waste."
