Re: Dumb Baking Question: I put the bowl of mixed dough on top of the stove
with the oven set at about 225 degrees (and keep the oven door closed).
This provides mild warmth on top of the stove.  Then I drape a towel over
the top of the bowl. It takes about 45-60 minutes to achieve the desired
results.  So far, my dough always rises.  Hope this helps.  Ellen
