A Brasilian friend taught me to make these wonderful treats. They are quick, easy and fantastic

CASADINHOS
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 small pkg sweetened shredded coconut
2 Tablespoons best quality cocoa
1 teas vanilla
1/2 teas salt
2 teas instant expresso powder
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 teas ground cloves

Place all ingredients in a HEAVY pan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture pulls away from sides of pan. Watch carefully and do not let it burn.

Let cool in pan and then refrigerate.

When cold, using a small ice cream scoop, make small rolls of candy and then roll in mixture of 1/2 cup cocoa and 2 teas expresso powder.

Store in refrig

For an entirely different taste, omit cocoa and coffee. You may want to try to use cashews in place of walnuts. Roll in Brownulated brown sugar
