I recently had a blood test, which showed anti-gladian antibody IgG
antibodies which were mildly elevated at 12 EIA Units". It also showed
anti-endomysial antibodies of the IgA variety which had a "positive
titer of 1:160". However, my anti gladian antibodies were within normal
limits. About 12 years ago I developed HF, which I treated with dapsone.
About 2 years ago the HF disappeared. I have been symptom free since
that time with no dapsone. In 1991 I had an intestinal biposy which showed
"partial villous blunting". I have never had any symptoms of celiac
disease.

However, I am concerned about the risk of lymphoma. One doctor has
suggested that I go on a gluten free diet to lessen this risk despite the
absense of celiac symptoms.

I would appreciate comments and suggestions. I would also appreciate
references to the literature.
