I called Sanofli-Synthelabo the company that manufacturers Ambien the other
day to check on gf status. The customer service representative says they now
have gluten-free Ambien available but it has to be special ordered from a
wholesaler. The lot number for 10 mg is: TB02B (A231). For the 5 mg it is TA21B
(A031). She said the wholesaler (McKesson is one) should call customer
service at 800-223-1062. So far I haven't heard back from Target or Walmart. Maybe
if they receive enough calls, it will be more readily available.
