The Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) will hold their Annual Education
Conference - June 4-6, 2004, at the Doubletree Hotel, Lloyd Center, Portland OR

Come to Portland, OR for the GIG Annual Education Conference. Enjoy the
beautiful Rose City, during the famous Rose Festival Activities.

The conference will be a Celebration - of 30 years of service to the celiac
community.

This conference offers something for everyone -- structured childrens
programs, meetings for health care providers, a class for newly diagnosed persons,
our main program with top researchers and experts addressing a variety of
topics, and one of the largest exhibit areas of gluten-free products and resources.

GIG conferences are well known for offering high quality, exciting
gluten-free meals at the conference. Think about joining us as we venture to local
restaurants Friday to enjoy gluten-free meals - Corbetts Fish House is a special
treat, offering a gluten-free fish-fry daily. They will prepare something very
special for us!

The children's programs will use Celebrations as the theme of their
educational and fun-filled programs that include trick or treating through the exhibit
hall. This years childrens programs are planned and run by teachers with
age-appropriate activities for the very young to teens. They will learn coping
skills; do GF cooking, art and science projects. Childcare will be provided for
children under age 5.

Our conference in Portland is during their fabulous Rose Festival, offering
something for everyone…parades, street fairs and more. The conference hotel is
across the street from one of Portland's largest malls and convenient to the
Max and bus system.

Transportation from Portland International Airport to downtown Portland is a
breeze with the Airport Max Light Rail Red Line, taxis, hotel courtesy vans,
shuttles, executive cars and rental cars.

Portland is the perfect location for a vacation. Just a few minutes to the
coast and sea lion caves; 2 hours to Mount St Helen's (Washington's most recent
volcano eruption); 3 hours to Seattle and some fabulous gluten free dining,
and another 2 hours to Canada.
