I received several responses to my original querey:

"Does anyone know where I can get a Celiac Sprue Medical Alert Card?"

Basically, Medic-Alert provides a service which includes:

        * a bracelet or necklace engraved with your disease (ie:  Celaic Sprue);

        * a membership #;

        * an emergency response telephone # which can be called in an emergecny
situation and will allow the telephone caller to obtain more medical
information contained in your medical records at Medic-Alert.  This
information is provided by you and includes emergency contacts, doctors, and
any medication which you may be taking.

IN THE UNITED STATES, call 1-800-432-5378.

        There is an initial fee of $35.00 and an annual renewal fee of $15.00.
you can update your records as often as necessary at no cost.

IN CANADA, call 1-800-668-1507.

        (Unsure of cost.)
