Has anyone else seen this report that loratadine (in Claritin) and
corticosteroids (as in Flonase) cause weight gain/prevent weight loss?  I've
been mystified the last year at how much weight I've gained and how it just
won't come off on a low-calorie diet, plenty of exercise.  I've dropped the
Claritin and Flonase for the moment on the off chance that it could be this
easy.  If anyone has seen details on these studies, I'd appreciate the reference
-- aside from vanity and my clothes budget, these seem like pretty deep-seated
side effects, messing about with metabolism and whatnot.  I'd be wary of them
even without the weight problem.
