On Thursday, August 9th, Eugene Gluten Intolerance Group will celebrate our 
1st year anniversary with a family picnic at River Road Park (also called 
Emerald Park).  The park is located at 1400 Lake Drive, Eugene.  We'll meet at 
shelter #1 from 6-8pm.  Please bring your own picnic dinner.  Eugene GIG will 
provide brownies and ice cream for dessert. There is no charge for the picnic.

If you like to swim, be sure to bring your swimming gear.  Family swim is 6:30 –
 7:30 pm.  Recreational swim is 7:30 – 8:30 pm.  
Swim fees are:     2-4 years      $1.00  
                           5-17 years    $2.00 
                           18 and over   $3.00   
                           group of 8    $7.50

We'd like to give a big thanks to the companies who have so generously 
donated their products for our picnic:  Baskin-Robbins for a half tub each of 
Red Raspberry Sorbet and Gold Medal Ribbon Ice Cream (plus cups, spoons 
and a cooler), Bob's Red Mills for the brownies and TBYC for 40 individual 
servings of yogurt, sorbet, etc.   We also have chocolate chip bars from Ener-
G.  All are gluten free and some are dairy free.
