Does anyone out there experience rectal bleeding as a symptom as celiac disease?  Or as a result of accidentally eating something with gluten?

We are trying to figure out if my son's rectal bleeding is related to his celiac disease.  He was diagnosed in December, and he has no other symptoms.

He has been gluten free, but the past few days has had a lot of bleeding.  I don't know if he accidentally ate something with gluten, or if, in fact, there is no connection to his celiac disease.
