      Mildred -
My bone density doc (head of the Bone Density and Endocrinology clinic at U of Chicago) says Strontium binds to bone, which means the DEXA may show an increase in density when it could be reflecting the strontium and not a bone increase.

Too, biphosphonates bind to jaw bone, and I don't know if there will turn out to be any risks with strontium, the way there did with biphosphonate medications.

I am using K2 (menatetrenone), Ostivone (a bioflavanoid), calcium/magnesium/manganese/boron, and lots of vitamin D, as I have low vitamin D without it and that means my Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) level gets too high, which causes bone loss.
