thank you all for your advice. it is much appreciated.

2 people recommended using dr kenneth fine's enterolab for fecal testing and
mouth swab testing to get gene results for potential celiac, as well as
immediate presence of gluten
sensitivity.http://www.finerhealth.com/Educational_Info/Gluten_Sensitivity/FAQ/

several suggested prometheus lab to test for genetic markers DQ2 and DQ8, and
discussed alleles in general.said prometheus is reliable.

1 person said her dr says the info on genetic markers is not true.

a few said they had bad experiences with quest labs, that it is not reliable,
and that quest doesn't do genetic marker tests anyway.

2 suggested my daughter try the gf diet to see if it helps. 1 suggested this
in a very caring way. 1 suggested this in a very sarcastic manner. (you can
imagine how much i appreciated that).this however was strongly recommended
Against since once on the diet it makes it more difficult to ever determine if
celiac is actually the culprit. once on the diet, it is for life, and if at some
time one needs to determine if it is not actually celiac and go for a gluten
challenge, it could cause refractory sprue to occur, making life even more
difficult.it is not an easy diet to maintain for a lifetime if one is not even
positive it is necessary.

1 suggested children's hospital in chicago.

1 suggested checking my question at delphiforums
website.http://forums.delphiforums.com/celiac/messages/?ctx=16

1 suggested:You may want to contact the University of California in Irvine.
They are running a celica research program and part of that is genetic testing.

1 suggested:There are various sites on the Internet offering the DNA test.
Maybe you
can do a Google search.

thanks for all your time and input.
