Yes, they say on their website that they don't guarantee it because of the
natural flavorings -- and also because of the vinegar. But those doesn't
worry me. I think it's only CSA that worries about those two things nowadays.

However, I used to eat it the Tofutti sour cream substitute, but it ruined
me (yes I realize that the fact that it bothered me personally counts for
very little and I wouldn't bring it up if there were not another concern).
I didn't suspect it for a long time, but finally I reread the ingredients.
It did have something it in I didn't think was safe from gluten. I don't
have a package here now to check, but I think it may have been something
like mono and diglicerides that was listed. This is always suspect. In the
US it can be either corn or wheat based or both.

Many of us do not seem to be aware that if a substance is listed on the
list of ingredients on a product, they do not have to list the secondary
ingredients, like gluten. For instance, tomato paste and puree may often
have gluten in them, but if the manufacturer lists just the tomato paste,
they are not required to list the secondary hitchhiker, gluten, or
whatever. It is difficult to determine from just the ingredient list on the
label whether a product is GF or not.

On the other hand, their Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese seems to be
completely GF. I eat that all the time and I see nothing suspect in the
ingredients.
