Thanks to the many that responded to my question regarding chlorine.
The majority of you said chlorine does not contain gluten.  Many
suggested just swallowing the water can cause diarreha in anyone.  Many
others suggested that my son may have been contaminated from another
source or simply contracted a bug from the pool or elsewhere. I
appreciate all your responses!
