So so so sorry for taking so long on this. I just started a new job.

I should note that in my last email I said I was CF, meaning casein
free. I've been casein free for about four years and gluten free for
around four months.

It seems that the reaction was not caused by the tofutti at all, but by
some soy sauce that we thought was okay but has some questionable
caramel coloring in it.

In any case, here's a summary:

* A lot of people replied to tell me I was probably reacting to soy, and
said that they'd had similar problems. It is in fact a soy product.

* One person told me to hurry up and send this summary.

* One person thought he or she was having a mild reaction to the tofutti
cream cheese, but wasn't sure.

* One person said she was reacting to the corn in the tofutti cream cheese.

* Someone wrote in to say that his or her daughter was reacting to
Tofutti American Cheese (not cream cheese), because it contained
hydrologyzed soy protein (possibly containing wheat).

* Five extremely dairy/gluten sensitive people and one who didn't say
how sensitive she was indicated that they hadn't had any problems with
it, and that both the sour cream and cream cheese by Tofutti were staple
foods in their diet.

* One person said that he reacted to Tofutti's cream cheese.

* One person said she reacted to the gums in the cream cheese.

* One person wrote in to recommend "Vegan Gourmet Monterey Jack Cheese,"
which is GF/CF and melts.

I think that's all of the replies, but my spam filter has been going
haywire, so I may have missed things. Sorry, if that's the case.

Thanks guys!
