For all of you fellow allergy sufferers, there is relief. I just spoke
with Patty Johnson at Hoechst Marion Roussel [(816) 966-5000], the drug
company that makes Allegra and Allegra D. Both medications (12 hour
pills) are "free from wheat, oats, rye, barley and spelt grains. They
do contain corn starch."

Since I haven't been able to get confirmation on the gf status on
Claritin D (I've seen a lot of contradictory info), Allegra D is the
next best choice for me. Not as powerful or quick acting as Claritin D,
but it definitely helps when the pollen count goes up. KEEP IN MIND -
THIS IS PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION - SO SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR FIRST.
Everybody handles medication differently.
