Hi Everyone,

Thank you for reponding to my question about dried apricots causing
gluten-type reactions.
As it turns out, the reasons for such reactions are varied:

1. I could have pigged out and eaten too many and this causes discomfort in
many people who responded.
2. Dried apricots can have many chemicals added in the manufacturing process:
citric acid, sulpher or sulfites, nitrates, and wheat or oat flour
3. The peels can be hard on the digestive system, molds can develop and
cross-contamination can occur.
4. Apricot allergy

Thanks again for all the help!

All the best,
Susan
