I received this in reply to my question about Maggie's Gluten Free 
Merinques from RubyRange.  I can't wait to try them again.  I highly 
recommend these over any "pre-packaged" meringues.  Since I received this

I never received a request of info from you. I am having web problems and 
am working on resolving it.
 
You are right the recipe has a problem.  Add the sugar slowly when the egg 
whites are almost to stiff peaks.  Add slowly so that the sugar disolves 
completely.
