As a student living downtown Chicago, I was surprised and frustrated that
there were no national support groups for Celiac Disease or Gluten
Intolerance, just a couple dinner groups. I wanted to start something to
invite all somehow involved or affected by a gluten free diet to attend!
This includes, men, women, boys, girls, spouses, cousins, brothers, moms,
and everyone in between. The more people are there to share their story, the
more information we can learn from one another. Whether you're a seasoned
professional at avoiding gluten or just got diagnosed, please come!

What: 2nd Chicago Gluten Free Support Group Meeting!
Where: Great Taste Cafe (on the second floor of McClurg Court) near the
Fitness Center. [There isn't a sign up yet for the restaurant, so look for
address)
355 N. Grand Avenue. $2 parking for 2 hours. $6 parking for up to 4 hours
(you can go see a movie after the meeting!).
When: Tuesday, July 20 at 6:00 pm
Who: Everyone is welcome. No fee to attend!! Hosted by the GIG (Gluten
Intolerance Group)
Why: Come talk with others living the gluten free life! We will host a
general support group meeting and Josh Alper, owner of Great Taste Cafe, may
provide appetizers.
