    As one person with a severe wheat allergy, I can tell you that
I, at least, absolutely cannot tolerate it.  If anyone else has a
wheat allergy rather than celiac disease and wants to try it, do
not eat more of the spelt item than you would of a wheat item -
it's too risky.

    However, I have heard that some people here in town can eat
spelt who can't eat wheat.  I have never met them and cannot relay
their experiences.
