The University of Utah is conducting a celiac disease
genetics study. We need siblings (brother and/or sisters) who have
been - biopsy diagnosed- with celiac disease or dermatitis herpetiformis.
If you or someone you know meet this criteria and would be willing
to contribute a blood sample, please contact:

To those (twelve or so) of you who have already contacted me,
thanks for the samples. Your DNA is in the freezer. The National
Dermatological Foundation has provided funding to collect sufficient
samples to preform our sib-pair analysis. You might want to look up
March 8, 1996 issue of the journal Science, it has a fascinating
(and understandable) discussion of the approach we are taking to study
complex disease genes.
