Hi, 


We have just returned from our fabulous trip to Hawaii. Eating GF is pretty easy. We were on both Maui and the Big Island (hawai'i). Maui had more variety but both islands had plenty to choose from. 


LAX airport...bring your own food!!! 


Maui 


There is a Costco near the airport as well as a Whole Foods. 


(Lahaina) Star Noodle. ..fantastic and VERY gluten free friendly...knowledgable servers and chef..will accommodate with many dishes..just ask!! 


(Lahaina) Honu ..delicious...great GF menu...pizza/fish were fabulous..also willing to adjust items 


(Kaanapali beach) Hula Grill ...a small GF menu but good...we ordered off regular menu with adjustments...fish was fabulous 


(Kaanapali) Dukes... No GF menu but will accomodate...knowlegdeable staff 


Westin Kaanapali has GF bread.need to ask..but plenty of options on the breakfast buffet..fruits/vegies, proteins, 


Take snacks if you travel to Haleakala...we went for the sunrise..magnificent and worth the early hours!! I am sure the Sunset would be spectacular as well!! 


Oahu...day trip to Pearl Harbor....have food with you...airports in Hawaii are very limited and we were delayed returning to Maui for 4 hours!!! 




Big Island 


I believe there is a Costco but never saw one!! A few "markets" that carry packaged GF foods/bars etc/ 


(Waikoloa) Tommy Bahama ...GF options limited..fair knowledge 


(Waikoloa) Sensei... no GF menu but options decent...knowledgeable 


(Waikoloa) Roy' s..no GF menu but willing to adjust items. 




General Info: 


Luau's are tough, but there are options...we had them send us the menu! 


If you snorkel and food is served..check into their menu...ours provided GF muffins and hamburger buns :) We snorkeled in Big Island with Body Glove boat! 


If you go to Volcanoes, also recommend snacks....not a lot along the way to choose from! 


I used my "find me GF app" as well as "Urban Spoon"!!
