Just a reminder about our next meeting THIS Sunday February 12th, 2012 at 2 PM at Hope Church (Methodist), 700 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043

Our guest will be Anne Lee, Director of Nutritional Services with Dr. Schar, USA. (Europe’s #1 gluten-free food brand.)

What began as a joint project between local Innsbruck (Austria) doctor Dr A. Schär and Bozen-based entrepreneur Untertrifaller in 1922 was remodeled in 1981 under the leadership of Ulrich Ladurner. By specializing in the production of gluten-free foods, a few decades were all the company needed to become a market leader. The first comprehensive gluten-free product line was launched onto the market in close collaboration with doctors and coeliac societies in 1981.

Their headquarters are in Italy but they are completing a large production facility at 305 Heron Drive in Logan Twp., NJ. ("Pureland") Anne said she will be bringing recent photos and updates about the new facility (Their first in the United States and right in our area!) and she’ll be telling us about her important position in this global GF company.
