Dear Listmates,

Though I have felt incredibly better since going GF a couple of months ago, it
is has become obvious that I am sensitive to corn. Unfortunately, every
gluten
free item I have found so far in my region of Germany has corn in it. I have
been eating crackers, cookies, etc. with the corn, so that my food cravings
don't get out of control, but the corn is definitely preventing me from
feeling
my best. In addition, it seems that almost half of the recipes posted on the
listserv contain corn. Does anyone know of any resources for GF AND corn free
living? If gluten and corn products are avoided, I can say goodbye to almost
any processed food. Corn syrup and corn starch are in more foods than gluten,
I think! Any resources that you guys know of and any words of encouragement
would be appreciated.

I do have another baking-related questions-potato flour/starch in larger
quantities also bothers me, so Bette Hagman's recipes don't work well for me.
Any ideas for substitutions? Can I use sticky rice flour or arrowroot
flour in
place of the corn and potato flour?

Thanks so much,
Cindy
