Hi All,

Sorry I sent my summary out too soon. These three replies came in the next
day:

1. Thanks for sending Melanie's blog. Not meaning to be a downer, but some
of those restaurants (eg. Cedars, Jitlada and another one I can't recall)
are now closed. And since we live in Brookhaven/Buckhead we aren't going to
drive to Alpharetta or Duluth for pizza lol! I think you can probably go to
some of the chains around and in Perimeter Mall without having to hike too
far. We had good grilled salmon at Cheesecake Factory the other night in
Perimeter Mall. Maggiano's is there also and Goldfish. Actually, if you
wanted to drive up to Roswell during non-peak rush hour, it's straight up Ga
400 and not too far in terms of driving time. BUT if there's an accident on
400, you can sit there for hours (you may remember this about Atlanta
traffic. I'm a native of this fair city and it sure has changed over the
years!). We go to Houston's in Buckhead, Thai Chili in Toco Hills, Saigon
Chateau on Buford Hwy,, and for expensive meals, Valenza, La Grotta, Chops,
Bones and Woodfire Grille are great. Also for good fast food, Chick Fil A
is the best (gf real lemonade to die for, waffle fries and grilled chicken
are GF). Johnnie Rockets is good for french fries and burgerless
burger/cheeseburger. Waffle House is always a possibility for breakfast
(hash browns, grits, bacon, sausage, eggs are all GF). I never have a good
experience with PF Changs but it is in the general area of Perimeter, and
other celiacs seem to love it. You will have a good bit to choose from!

2. The following link might help you. I've typed 'Sandy Springs, Atlanta' in
the search, and got about 15 GF places for the area. Here is link to the
list of results:
    http://tinyurl.com/sgssga
(if you want to check them in a map, to see how close they are from your
hotel, just go to the 'address' box (in the map guide), and type 'Sandy
Springs, Atlanta')

3. You're in luck. One of the best GF restaurants in Atlanta is in the same
parking lot with Perimeter Mall. It's called Wildfire and here's the
website: <http://www.wildfirerestaurant.com/>

Thanks, Leslie, Cynthia and Diana!
