Tuna in olive oil has a lot of flavor. There are 3 brands I know of.
They contain only tuna, olive oil and salt.

Tonno brand is sold in the supermarkets. The more flavorful Pastene and
Cento brands are sold in smaller stores (in Metro-Boston, Gloria chain
and fruit and deli markets.

You don't need mayo. with these in a sandwich, and the intense flavor
needs no accent, except possibly a squeeze of fresh lemon. A really easy
meal is to combine the tuna and all its oil with hot sliced potato,
flavored with capers and a little finely chopped raw onion. Served warm or
at room temperature this is great summer or winter.

Kate.
