The question was: Is there a definitive list available of which suppliers of
supposedly gluten-free foods use corn-only xanthan gum?

The only useful reply I got was as follows:

Most of our packaged xanthum gum available here comes from Kinnikinnick
or El Peto - both very reputable specialists in gluten free food. I feel
confident that their products are gluten free. However, I would be hesitant
to consider buying the xanthum gum available in bulk in some outlets.
Guar gum can also be made from a non gluten free source, so again I stick
to the brand names mentioned above.
