The information was first mentioned to me by a list member in response to
my ? about generic Singulair. I checked out the web site
_www.glutenfreedrugs.com_ (http://www.glutenfreedrugs.com) and also found the information
there. Levoxyl has been mentioned as an alternative and that is listed as
gluten free on that website. I know that thyroid medication is a sensitive
one and that doctors do not like to change it. I am e mailing my doctor
with the information and checking with her about the possibility of changing
to Levoxyl. I am assuming that
whatever we end up changing to after the change I will have to have blood
tests more often until we are sure that the same dosage works properly
using a new drug. Good luck with this one everybody. Olivia in VA
