I have more than enough trustworthy information now to post my summary.
Whey definitely has lactose in it -- a lot of it. -vance

<<Definitely- whey:milk:::serum:plasma- still has the sugars in it.

<<Lactose is soluble in water, so the majority would be in the whey not the
curds. (Lactose is a fairly simple sugar).

<<I work at milk processing company and have been given the following
information; Whey is about 80-90% of the volume of milk it contains
soluable protein, lactose , vitamins and minerals. Lactose is the main
constituent of whey.

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please
everybody.
