Here are some more restaurants and answers to my question about
restaurants in Montreal
I have travelled to Montreal many times and have had limited success
with GF options. One shining star has been The Keg Steakhouse in the
old historic part of the city. I had one of the best lobsters there that
I have ever had in my life (and I come from a long line of lobstermen in
Maine). They have excellent steaks and seem to be very aware of allergen
issues. I've been to The Keg in Toronto and Montreal and both locations
have been very helpful. The only draw-back would be price--it can be an
expensive meal for a family. Their website is
at: http://en.kegsteakhouse.com/ The waitress in the Toronto restaurant
said they have a book that lists the ingredients of all there menu
items, so they can check for gluten and other things.

Here's what I have when I go there: the brochette St-Hubert, with rice,
salad with house vinaigrette, coleslaw (both dressings are gf), no
sauce and no bun. But I ask them to replace the regular sauce with more
brochette sauce on the side.
