Hi All - I will be in the hospital for surgery for 2-4 days and want to plan what to stockpile (snacks and meals) for the stay as well as when recuperating at home that would be easy to have on hand and warm up or microwave. I did a search of the archives and there were a few suggestions but I was wondering if there are more recent experiences. I will be talking to the dietician at the hospital but my past experiences have been horrible and I usually left being absolutely starved because the kitchen staff did not have a clue.
What would you suggest I have on hand and take to the hospital if necessary. Thanks in advance. I will try to summarize.
