Someone on the list wrote the following regarding my summary:

And I have to reply:

That actually, that is just what my Dr.  said happened, I had aspirated the
fluid (from vomiting violently all night) into my lungs which was causing the
fever and the beginnings of pneumonia.  Hence the shortness of breath,
tightness, and the need for antibiotics.

It was the shortness of breath,  tightness, and pain in upper chest which
sent me back to urgent care.  At the time I was thinking it was just pulled
muscles, but the intensity scared me.

As for the GERD, I do suffer from that also, and know the symptoms well.
This was definitely not that.  ;)
