Some of the many replies I got to my post: " A
new, often missed CD symptom" contained some common
misconceptions we should all try to weed out of our
community. Here are some basic facts we always need to

remebmer:

- Celiac is an inherited, auto-immune disease complete
   with genetic marker.

- Once a celiac, allways a celiac, you NEVER 'get
    over' it.

- Yes if you stay GF, the villae heal ( rather quickly
in many cases ) and you live a normal, healthy
    no-different-than-anybody-else life.

- Though inherited, celiac DOES NOT necessarily pass
to all children. Just like any other genetic
disease some siblings can have it and others not.

- Staying on a GF diet, does not alter your genes. If
you are a celiac you can pass it on to your kids
even if you've been on a strict GF diet your
    entire life.

Regards ...
