The March 3rd issue of American Medical News, published by the American
Medical Association has an article based on the Fasano study. The full text

"Many people with the disease are thought to be undetected by the radar of
even the most attentive physician because the symptoms are actually very
wide-ranging, contrary to what has been taught in medical schools.
A major goal of the University of Maryland researchers is to urge primary
care physicians to heighten their suspicion that celiac disease could be the
cause of a variety of patients' symptoms, said Dr. Fasano."
They include a table -
Patients newly identified as having celiac disease have exhibited the
following symptoms:
*       Chronic diarrhea: 35%
*       Joint pain: 29%
*       Abdominal pain: 28%
*       Fatigue: 26%
*       Constipation: 20%
*       Asthma: 7%
*       Type 1 diabetes mellitus: 7%
*       Osteoporosis: 6%
