Just got the GF menu from Bonefish Grill. (I emailed them, because for some reason, I couldn't find it on their website.) Very similar approach to Outback...where they take the regular menu and mark GF next to gf items. Looks terrific. Lots of options. And the folks I emailed at Bonefish Grill were very gracious.

Bonefish Grill gf menus carry the usual hold-harmless statement (basically, we can't sue, we should consider the information in light of our own needs, obviously), but in a customer-friendly way.....their words...."being proactive, by making it easier for persons with gluten intolerance to enjoy dining out."

Kudos to them. Those of us who've been dealing with celiac or any other special diet know that success will depend on communication and the staff....but at least the company cares...from the top down.

I'm continuing to get positive and negative comments about Carrabba's.The positive experiences are now outweighing the negative ones. And got one really nasty email....nothing like it in over 10 years of being on the list. Not about Carrabba's at all. Just someone who was on the attack. I guess it's bound to happen after so many years of writing....but so many of you have said wonderful, informative things, I just want you to know I appreciate it. We're all in this to help each other!

And thanks again to Cynthia Kupper of GIG who goes to so much trouble to work with the restaurants to put out GF menus!

Lin
