<<<<<Rutin is a bioflavinoid-aka vitamin P. It's sources are from the
white skins and segment coverings of citrus fruits. It also can be found
in apricots, blackberries, bing cherries, rose hips, and buckwheat. If
you have an allergy to buckwheat (remember, buckwheat is not a grain and
does not contain gluten, but may be contaminated because of crop
rotations), and the manufacturer of the suppliment uses buckwheat as
its' source for rutin, then it may be the cause of your stomach trouble.
Other than that, rutin is not made from wheat, rye, oats, or barley<<<<<
Alfalfa should cause no problems unless you are allergic to it. It has
no gluten.
