I KNEW there was something I was forgetting in my previous email!
I always melt the butter/margarine and chocolate for the cake in the
microwave, which makes this an extremely speedy cake. My relatively
low-power microwave melts these ingredients (for the half recipe) in less
than 2 minutes. Make sure you cover the bowl (the butter/margarine will pop
a bit). Also make sure that your bowl is large enough for the rest of the
cake ingredients - this is where the "one-bowl" name comes in.
I make the glaze in a small saucepan on top of the stove after the cake is
cool. If you make it while the cake is baking (as the Whole Foods recipe
suggests), by the time the cake is cool, your glaze will have hardened in
the saucepan.
Also, you can use light corn syrup instead of honey in the glaze if you choose.
