Thank you to everyone for your responses to my Gettysburg question.
I googled Gettysburg Gluten Free and got the email address of the GF group that meets there and Cheryl sent me a list that they had for the area.
Below are all my responses, thanks again.
Linda in (Central) Pa.

Gettysburg area GF resources

1. Mom's Coffee Pot, at 65 West Middle Street in Gettysburg, PA 17325, telephone 717-337-9034 has some local color and has a GF menu for breakfast, lunch and dessert. Brian, the owner has CD and his wife Mary keeps GF food on hand. Best to call ahead anyway to request GF foods for your visit. Her GF chocolate chip cookies are awesome!

2. Hoss's Steak and Sea House is located on Route 30, which is also
called York Street, and is about 1/2 mile off of Route 15 at the York
Street exit. Many items at the salad bar are GF. Ask for "no dust" on
your steak as the seasoning contains flour. At least, it used to; the
company tells me that its has discontinued using that "dust" but I
always ask just to be sure! They also have a website www.hosss.com

3. Our largest grocery store, Giant, on Route 30 AKA York Street, just
down from Hoss's, has a nice salad bar which could serve for lunch.
They also sell GF items, two aisles! They have breads, rolls, cookies, snacks, as well as GF flours. Also the large salad bar.

4. Kennie's market on W. Middle Street has a small GF section, and carries some of Amy's GF dinners in their freezer.

5. The Rose Garden Natural Food store is not a restaurant, but you can buy many GF foods there, including GF meals that can be heated up in a motel microwave. It's located at 39 West Street in G'burg.

6. Ping's is a Chinese place right off the center square of G'burg, on
Baltimore Street. The soy sauce they use DOES contain wheat, but I ask for no soy sauce to be used at all. Most dishes use cornstarch as a thickener. Use general precautions as you would at any Chinese
restaurant.

7. The Gluten Free Source is a store in Dillsburg about half hour away that carries ONLY GF foods. Located at 20 S. Baltimore St, it is only a short distance off of Rt. 15. Phone 717-432-5100, website www.glutenfreesource.com

8. Fairfield Inn is 10 miles west of Gettysburg, on Rt 116 in the village of Fairfield. The Chef and owner is familiar with GF issues and very accommodating. Phone 717-642-5410. Fantastic history here.

9. On Steinwehr Avenue in the heart of tourist area is the Dobbin House. The atmosphere can't be beat. All food freshly prepared by chef who can adjust entrees for GF status. Spring House Tavern is in the cellar, has a real spring, an informal atmosphere Upstairs has a more formal dining area, a lovely gift shop and a small Underground Railroad Museum.

10. Passages Inn is a Bed and Breakfast that understands our GF needs. You can check them out at www.passagesinngettysburg.com They are available for the traditional overnight stays with gourmet breakfasts, not restaurant meals at other times during the day.

11. The Ragged Edge Coffee Shop carries GF baked goods to go with your beverage. Located on Chambersburg Street just off the town Square. Tel 717-334-4464

12. Lynn Hunter sells GF baked goods "From Nonnie's Kitchen" at the Farmer's Market at the Outlet Shops on Fridays, June through October.

13. Best Western Gettysburg Hotel. Located on the center square in Gettysburg, this hotel has two dining places, a formal Centuries on the Square and informal McClellan's' Tavern. Both use the same menu, the tavern has a dining room beside the bar area. I have found both waiters and chef able and willing to accommodate a GF diet, adjusting standard menu choices, or offering GF items in exchange. Entrees cost $17-24.

14. The Baladerry Inn, 40 Hospital Road, has a GF-friendly innkeeper, Suzanne Lonky. The facility and grounds are lovely and private; breakfast is served in an awesome great room, and can be gluten-free. Tel: 717-337-1342 or 800-220-0025. Website: www.baladerryinn.com

This will not be of much help to you but we were there a month ago and I found it "challenging."
I don't recall the name but there was a French restaurant on one of the main streets that radiates from the center of town - where I had a decent piece of plain salmon. The chef and waitress bent over backward to be accommodating. We walked and I think it was two blocks from the center square - posibly the SE corner of an intersection.
We also ate in an historic inn a block or two further out (SW corner of an intersection with parking behind it) on that same street - again I can not recall the name. They had a delicious bread pudding that was made with corn meal. The waitress was familiar with GF which was nice but unfortunately the rest of my meal was just so-so.
We ate breakfast in our hotel (Marriott Courtyard) where I did an omelet.

There's a little coffee shop in Gettysburg with a gf menu. (They're only open for breakfast, however, so you have to get there early.):
