The Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease and the Celiac Disease Center's Family Screening
is rapidly approaching! - October 14, Rye High School, Rye, NY, in beautiful Westchester County.

Registration for the Walk and/or the Family Screening also includes the vendor fair and educational sessions.  Lunch will be available for purchase, supplied by Soul Dog, a participating restaurant in the Gluten-Free Restaurant Awareness Program.

Vendors (to date) include:

Foods by George, Everybody Eats, Whole Foods, Celiac Chicks, Breads from Anna, Dreamery Creamery, Pamela's Products, Food-Tek, Inc, Xocai Chocolates, Against the Grain, Bon Appetit-Without the Wheat, Juice Plus, Goody2Chews, Pioneer Nutritional Formulas Inc., The Kitchen Table Bakers, LesserEvil Brand Snack Co., Bob & Ruth's Gluten Free Dining & Travel Club, Food for Life, Maxwell's Kitchen, Full Flavor Foods, Inc., Garbo Foods, Freeda Vitamins, Within the Ribbon and DeCicco's Marketplace.

Educational sessions include:

What is Celiac Disease?, by Peter Green, MD; Celiac Disease in the Pediatric Population, by Amy DeFelice, MD; Gluten-Free Diet I, by Anne Lee, MSEd, RD, CDN; How Should a Celiac Patient be Followed Medically? by Peter Green, MD; The Gluten-Free Diet II, by Anne Lee.

Registration for the Family Screening is $25 per person. Pre-registration online is required, and has been extended to October 8th. Pre-register at: www.celiacdiseasecenter.org.

Registration for the Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease, if pre-registered by October 12th, is $20 (adults) and $15 (children 17 and under).  Registration at the Walk is $25 (adults) and $20 (children 17 and under).  ***Be sure to register by October 1st to guarantee a free t-shirt! All proceeds will be donated to the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.  The Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease is co-sponsored by the Westchester Celiac Sprue Support Group.
