  INFORMATION ON GLUTEN IN PRODUCTS AT SAVE-A-LOT
Sent upon request by me, Kathleen Estes>   I had a question and they were
kind enough   to respond within an hour.   This is not a sales pitch which one
reader wrote me.   Hope this comes through better than before.


 BAUMANN'S BEST BBQ SAUCE - all flavors - no gluten is added but two
of the ingredients may contain trace amounts of gluten protein.

   BAYOU HEAT HOT SAUCE - gluten free

   CEREALS - all grains contain gluten,
cereals are grains, technically   cereal is gluten free. Rice and oats have
the smallest amount of gluten while wheat, rye and barley have the highest
amounts. Corn is somewhat in the middle. Malt syrup, which is derived from barley
is added to a number of ready to eat cereals.

   COBURN FARMS EVAPORATED MILK - Gluten free

 COBURN FARMS HOT COCOA MIX=A0 - gluten free

 COCOA DIAMONDS CEREAL - could contain traces of grain-based products

CROC O BERRY CRUNCH - not gluten free - contains corn flour, oat flo
