Thanks to all  who responded to my wife's reaction to a possible gluten
ingestion. The general consensus was that after being gluten free
for some time the reaction to gluten is very different than before
diagnosis. Many respondents reported very dramatically increased
sensitivity to gluten after being clear of it for a while, often
resulting in explosive diarhea, and sometimes vomiting.

We shall be more careful in future. We really appreciated  the time so
many of you took to respond.
