Dear Listmembers:
I received 9 replies to my inquiry about the gluten status of honey. All were in agreement that honey is gluten-free.
I am including one useful comment below:

"honey and any other spread can be a source of gluten if anyone sharing it cross contaminates it through using it on their bread"
