Sorry, lost the email of the person who had a reaction to
Citrate Magnesium ...

After donating my morning to this quest [I am being sigmoid*-ed
tomorrow] I found that my Citrate Magnesium was manufactured
by a company named Perrigo. 1-800-719-9260 ... Green
bottle, says "distributed by McKesson Corp. of San Francisco"
in teeny weeny print.

The Perrigo representative listed the following as the ingredients:
magnesium hydroxide powder, citric acid, lemon oil, white sugar,
sodium, saccrin, purified water. Representative did not know
if it was GF or not. Doctor, pharmacist and hospital pharmacist
all equally clueless. grrrr. Got a lot of "well, can't imagine it
would have gluten in it" kind of responses ... but after the
Seltzer Debacle, I trust no one.

Will be slugging down my bottle in a few hours -- will certainly
let ya'll know if I have a reaction to it.

Separately -- thanks tons to the nearly 70 folks that responded
to my post re: my doctor's view of "classic" celiac symptoms.
I plan on getting the summary together by tomorrow so that after
the sigmoidoscopy, I can smack him upside the head with a stack
of emails from folks that do react rather quickly to gluten
ingestion and/or are not bone-thin. The support here is
absolutely overwhelming. thank you thank you thank you.
